Automatically fulfil multiple aerial photography tasks

GEMINI-M not only has the distinctive advantages in safe and stable flight for multirotor, but also fulfill multiple aerial photography tasks through the real-time flight data and visible 3D map, which precisely complete automatic takeoff/landing, waypoints flight, point of interests, click and fly to pointed place ect professional aerial photography tasks, it makes automatic flight without manual intervention, widely applied to cinematography, remote sensing mapping, aerial prospecting, disaster monitoring, traffic patrol, security monitoring, forest fire prevention, power line patrol etc fields.

Automatic Dodging Landing Gear Function

During the flight, once you enabled the automatic dodging landing gear function by a switch, the head of aircraft will automatically follow the same precise direction with the camera, thus avoiding the landing gear and it will never be seen in your shot, meanwhile preset flying route will keep same still and move forward as preset flying direction, which achieves 360° panoramic shooting, humanized design fulfill a much closer needs of users.

Blackbox Function

Friendly built-in blackbox function does not need any additional storage devices, it records flight data automatically and save a one-minute data before motors stop rotating. Auto-recording and simple data exporting functions brings you reassuring flying experience.

Click And Fly to Pointed Place

For those flying tasks which do not allow preset waypoints or need to change flying target accordingly, click any target point on the google map, click "Click and Go" button, the aircraft shall fly to the target point automatically as command. Easy operation easy to go.

Defined Waypoints (256waypoints available)

Waypoints of GEMINI-M can be set to the number of destinations up to 256, users can carry out for each waypoint special settings, such as height, residence time, flight speed, longitude and latitude etc. to meet the complex requirement of routes operating and flying task, intelligently adjust flying speed and altitude. Meanwhile you can setup shutter on each waypoint or change the waypoint route during the flight.

Auto-Navigation & Auto-generating Waypoints

Craft will finish the flying automatically according to the preset waypoints. After drawing new waypoints path or selecting from last waypoints records, the aircraft shall fly to the first waypoint and hover there, then fly all waypoints in sequential order to complete all waypoints flying. Meanwhile, according to different flying task, you can preset the waypoints location on google map and then one-button clicking " Auto-generating waypoints", system shall generate the waypoints path automatically and display its general length, it is easy to save your last waypoints records as option for next time flying.

Power Consumption Monitoring

Monitor present current and power consumption on "Data" page of GCS. After connecting power calculation module, controller will automatically ZERO sensor and start monitoring current output (A) and power consumption (mAh) which is displaying on GCS.


Servo Gimbal & ZERO TECH Brushless Gimbal Stabilization

GEMINI-M has 2-axis gimbal stabilization, only need one-time parameter setup, system will correct and adjust the gimbal according to flight attitude, which makes the camera maintain a stable angle and increases the aerial photography stability. Meanwhile, GEMINI-M supports ZERO TECH 3-axis brushless gimbal stabilisation, perfectly combine with Z series gimbals, correcting high-precise attitude which achieves impressive effect of aerial photography.

Support Phone/Tablet/PC Ground Control Station

Whole flight from takeoff to landing can be completed through simple and convenient portable devices on Phone/Tablet/PC GCS. All operations can be completed via phone or tablet giving great mobility and portability.

Built-in Damper, Enhanced Damping Functionality

The IMUs of GEMINI-M are built-in with a professional damper, no need additional damping devices, only need stick to aircraft body, which reduced the size and weight greatly and simplified the installation process. It greatly improved the reliability and damping functionality, bring users more stable and safe operation experience. In addition, GEMINI-M adopts new-generation professional accelerometer and vitally expand the acceleration measurement, enhanced damping functionality, suitable with bigger multirotor structure which may be with strong vibration.

Precise Position and Altitude Hold

GEMINI-M uses high-precise air pressure sensor, measure precision 10cm, it calculates the attitude and vertical velocity by Kalman filterng method, controlling precision is 20cm. With GEMINI-M, the multirotors will have precise position and altitude lock in windy conditions, precise hovering in less than 1.5m horizontal and 0.5m vertical

High Accuracy and Driving Handfeel

With the GEMINI-M, flying a multi-rotor will be as easy as walking. The pilot is released from the stress of controlling the multi-rotor and able to pay more attention to other tasks such as camera angle, instead of focus on flying.

Intelligent Motor Arm/Disarm

Motor Arm
After landing or before take-off, only if it is manual mode and the throttle stick is at the bottom position, the insurance can be enabled after 5 seconds; After the insurance is enabled, even if you push the throttle stick, the motors will not work. But you can arm the motor by clicking " enable insurance" in GCS or moving transmitter's stick as V shape to make the motors start again.
Motor Disarm
In manual mode , the motors will stop rotating when pulling throttle stick back to the bottom. In GPS mode, pulling throttle stick to the bottom only decrease the altitude. After landing your aircraft (Suggest you switch to manual mode immediately), pull back the throttle to the bottom and motors would stop slowly till completely lock stop

Multiple flight control mode/ Intelligent Switching

GEMINI-M supports multiple flight control modes. It can be intelligently switched among Manual Stabilization Mode, GPS Attitude Mode (Auto Hover /Auto Navigation /Auto Go Home/Landing), Phone Attitude Mode, Phone Remote Control Mode, Aerial Rocker-arm Mode to meet different requirements of flight tasks. In addition, when working with ZERO TECH brushless gimbal and safety parachute, the automatic dodging landing gear mode and automatic parachute opening mode can be available.

Target Lock

In auto-hover mode, you can select any interested point on the google map and take it as center point, touching the button of “Target Lock” on GCS can lock this interested point, meanwhile the aircraft could achieve a 360 degree circle flight around the point of interest. This function is easy to set up and convenient to operate, it is suitable for all-round shooting of a fixed scenic spot. Changing clock-wise and anti-clockwise direction by operating Aileron, changing radius to the point of interest by operating Elevator.

OSD Supported

After connecting OSD, flight data can be added to video, to assist you in having a complete flight.

Intelligent Orientation Lock

Usually, the forward direction of a flying multi-rotor is the same as the nose direction. By using Intelligent Orientation Lock, wherever the nose points, the forward direction has nothing to do with nose direction:
In course lock flying, the forward direction is the same as a recorded nose direction.

Failsafe (Auto Hover-Go Home-Landing)

Humanized fail-safe is the feature to ensure that the multi-rotor will hover automatically when it loses signal. After loss of signal for a certain period of time, GEMINI-M will auto-switch to be hover status (Keep waypoint flying for 5 more seconds when during GPS waypooints flight), it shall keep auto-flying as waypoints route to make sure the normal flying task if signal recover within 5 seconds, if not recover after 5 seconds, it will enable auto-back/landing function.

Multi-rotor One-Motor Fail Protection

This function means that when the aircraft is in attitude or GPS attitude mode, and one of the motors stops, the aircraft will retain good attitude and rotate around the frame arm with the stopped motor. In this condition, the aircraft is still under control and returns home safely and highly reducing the risk of a crash.

Low Votage Vibration Alert (Phone Terminal)

GEMINI-M has built-in low voltage alert function, when voltage goes down to be a certain low value, phone shall remind users to pay attention to operation by vibration, when voltage goes down lower than the low value, phone shall keep a constant and high-frequency vibration to alert user to land the aircraft urgently.

Future Functions Expand

GEMINI-M works as master controller system, it has powerful reserved space to be expanded as redundancy autopilot combining with other controller system, to meet different flying tasks requirements.
